Easily export your data to further analyze it or to share with your clients.

Exporting projects

The project overview can be downloaded in the list view and in the timeline view. This contains the raw data of the project overview, which you can use for your own evaluations.

If the export was successfully created, you will receive a notification in awork with a link to download the document.

List view

You can download and export in Excel format (.xlsx) via the action button at the top right corner, located above the project list.

Timeline view

You can download and export in Excel format (.xlsx) via the action button at the top right corner, located above the timeline.

Exporting tasks

Export all tasks of a project or a task filter in Excel format (.xlsx) so you can process them further.

If the export was successfully created, you will receive a notification in awork with a link to download the document.

Task overview

You will find the export button in the task overview at the top right corner.

Project tasks

Within a project, tasks can be exported in the list view, board view and timeline view.

You can download the tasks via the action button at the top right corner of each view.

Export Timeline as image

Using the document icon at the top right, you can export the entire timeline as a png or svg (vector) image, download it and, for example, send it to a client or include it in a presentation.

The export includes all displayed tasks, as well as the entire time range of these tasks plus a week at the start and end. The entire set view is transferred, such as the zoom level, language, dark mode, etc.

Exporting Times

Export all tracked times of a project or a task filter in Excel format (.xlsx) so you can process them further.

If the export was successfully created, you will receive a notification in awork with a link to download the document.

My Time Tracking

The view Times allows to download all of your tracked times. The export is available for the views My day, My week and My times. You can download the times via the action button at the top right corner of each view.

Times of a task

Simply go to the detailed view of your task and click on the green button "Worked" at the task KPIs (Due date, Planned, Worked, Progress). A window opens, showing you all the times recorded so far for the task. This view can be exported then. You can find more information here.

Time reports

The data of the evaluation can be exported in two ways.

As a timesheet in PDF format

Print your report or save it as a PDF.

As Excel spreadsheet in Excel format (.xlsx)

Export the raw data or create a grouped data report.

โ˜๏ธHint: Using the filter options, you can format the export (available for PDF format and grouped data export only) according to your demands by grouping, summing or sorting the data. You can also define the columns to be exported or decide how the data should be rounded.

Exporting Users

The user overview (Settings > Users), the tracked times of a user as well as the projects of a user can be downloaded in Excel format (.xlsx) so you can process them further.

If the export was successfully created, you will receive a notification in awork with a link to download the document.

User overview

You can download the user data via the action button at the top right corner of the user list. The export is available for the views All, Active and Deactivated.

Times and projects of users

If you click on a user in the overview, you will get to the user details. Here you have the possibility to see all times and projects of the user via the tabs Projects and Times.

You can download the user's times and projects via the action button at the top right corner of each view.

Exporting clients

The client overview (Settings > Clients) or the projects of a client can be downloaded in Excel format (.xlsx) so you can process them further.

If the export was successfully created, you will receive a notification in awork with a link to download the document.

Client overview

You can download the client data via the action button at the top right corner of the client list.

Projects of clients

If you click on a client in the overview, you will get to the client details. Here you have the possibility to see the client's projects via the tab Projects.

You can download the project overview via the action button at the top right corner of each view (List and Timeline view).

โ˜๏ธ Hint: You want to be notified by email as soon as an export is available? Activate the notification option Get notified when an export is available in your account settings.

Exporting data via Google Sheets integration

You want all the data in just one click? No problem, awork has its own add-on for Google Sheets. It allows you to quickly export the most important data (projects, tasks, users and times) to create individual evaluations and analyses. Load your data into your open Sheet in just a few clicks and update the data at any time.
