Your dashboard gives an overview of the most important things in your workspace. You can configure your dashboard via the edit button at the bottom. You can select the widgets that you want to see, rename them and drag them wherever you like.
Tip: Guest users can't configure their dashboard.
You can collapse or expand each widget by clicking on the arrows at the bottom. awork remembers the last state (except for activities, because the quantity of entries can be very fluctuating).
Some widgets can be added multiple times to your dashboard
- List of projects
- List of tasks
- Time report charts
- Text notes
This widgets have additional settings that you can edit via the gear button. In the list of tasks widget, for example, you can show your own tasks, a saved task view or create a new task view.
Today's time tracking
The circle shows how much of your day (base = 8 hours) you have already tracked. The icon on the left will send you to your detailed time tracking overview and you can create new time entries via the +button.
Below the circle you will see the list of all your tracked times for today. Here you can edit or delete them via the three dots icon.
Text notes
Here you can leave notes, e.g. if you need to take notes during a call. Clicking the +button creates a new note right below the current one.
List of projects
The standard projects widget shows all projects where you are a team member. Clicking on the title leads you to the project overview page. You can create new projects via the +button or jump directly into a project by clicking on its name.
Hint: If there are more than 3 projects in your workspace, only projects with the status 'in progress' will be shown in the standard widget.
But you can also use your filters from the project overview to create a custom project list, when adding a new list of projects widget.
List of tasks
This widget shows all your tasks. A click on the title leads you to your detailed task overview. If you click on a task, the task details will open. You can edit, delete or track time for a task via the three dot menu.
We also show the project and deadline for each task.
Hint: If there are more than 3 projects in your workspace, only tasks from projects in progress will be shown.
But you can also use saved task views when creating a new list of tasks widget. There is also the option to create a new task view directly from the add widget screen.
Time report chart
This widgets shows the charts from your time reports. When adding the widget awork asks you to choose your time report. You can toggle between matrix and pie chart view.
Activity stream
This widget shows all activities from the running projects where you are either part of the project team or an observer. The activities are grouped by day and project. You can see everything from the last seven days.
User absences
This widget shows you all absences that were created in the team planner. You can flip through weeks in the top right corner or go back to the current week.
Upcoming birthdays
Here you can see birthdays of your team members.
Project Progress
You can select exactly one project for the widget. The battery shows all project tasks in their respective status type (colour) and runs full over during the project progression. The numbers below the battery represent the ratio of completed tasks (green) to all tasks in the project.
